From Our Executive Director

Greetings from MMSA! I am thrilled to be serving as Executive Director of an organization made up of educators who care deeply about young adolescents. The work we do as educators is exhausting and oh so rewarding; thank you for all you do day in and day out to support the academic and personal growth of all students. Please know that as a Board we will continue working to support and celebrate educators who have chosen to "live" in the middle grades. I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the State Conference in December, the leadership event in March, and our Summer Institute in June. In addition to these opportunities, the Board continues to pursue other initiatives and will keep our membership informed of opportunities as they arise. Again, thank you for all you do. I look forward to meeting those I have not yet had the opportunity to meet. Have a wonderful school year!
